Hoot n Holler Wins in National Safe Jam contest
In early July 2020, Mary, our Mandolin player, told us about a national Safe Jam Contest sponsored by Pete Wernick's Homespun.com. We entered our "first try" video of Hank Williams' song, "Mind Your Own Business". It was shot with an iPhone, no editing, no close ups, no retakes and guess what? Hoot n Holler came in Third Place going up against bands from all over America. From the Municipal Rose Garden in San Jose, Calif, Here's Hoot n Holler performing, "Mind Your Own Business"
